Concrete road resurfacing & maintenance
Panel-X renews worn concrete roads with a 30 mm M-60 layer bonded to the existing slab. The road comes back stronger than it was built, at about half the cost, with traffic back in 24 hours.
Engineered for real-world performance
Concrete roads fail at the top first, while the slab underneath still has years of life. Panel-X removes only the damaged top 30 mm of the existing M-40 concrete and bonds 30 mm of M-60 in its place. With a proper bond, the new layer and the old slab carry load together and pass it evenly to the layers beneath.
How it works
The process plays on its own as you scroll here. Click any step to stop on it, or replay the whole sequence.
The road is back in service the next day. The bonded M-60 layer spreads wheel loads evenly into the slab and the layers beneath.
Road closure
Each square is one day the road stays closed. Conventional reconstruction breaks out and recasts the whole slab; Panel-X works only on the top 30 mm.

Built stronger
The original road was laid in M-40 concrete. Its new surface is M-60, half as strong again, and bonded so the whole pavement carries load as one.
The new layer and the old slab act as one section, not two separate layers.
Wheel loads spread evenly into the slab and the layers beneath it.
A dense, high-strength surface resists wear, abrasion and water ingress.

Why choose Panel-X?
Only the top 30 mm is replaced: less demolition, less new concrete and less haulage than conventional reconstruction.
Conventional work keeps a road closed for 55–60 days. A Panel-X stretch reopens the next day.
The new 60 MPa surface is stronger than the 40 MPa concrete it replaces.
A proper bond makes new layer and old slab act as one, spreading load evenly to the layers beneath.
A dense, high-strength surface resists wear and water ingress, extending pavement life.
Reusing the existing slab avoids demolition waste and the cement, aggregate and fuel to rebuild it.
Savings estimator
Enter your stretch and the rate you would pay for conventional reconstruction. Panel-X typically costs about half.
The rate below is an example. Replace it with your own.
Indicative only. Final cost depends on site condition, access and quantities, confirmed after a site assessment.
Side by side
| Parameter | Conventional reconstruction | Panel-X |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Full slab removal and recasting | About 50% lower |
| Time to open traffic | 55–60 days | 24 hours |
| Surface concrete | M-40 · 40 MPa | M-60 · 60 MPa |
| Existing slab | Demolished | Retained and reused |
| Load transfer | New slab on prepared base | Bonded layer works with the slab |
| Waste and material | Heavy demolition debris | 30 mm only, minimal waste |
| Traffic disruption | Weeks of diversions | One closure window |
